English for Work classes - May 2012

Adult Education in Gloucestershire will be running 'English for Work' lessons from May 2012.  A follow-on course for those who have completed Foundation English, the classes will be held at Llanthony Warehouse, The Docks, Gloucester and will cost £3 per class.

Chinese Community Information Event a success

In February, Qing helped organise an Ageing Well Event for the Chinese community.  Held in Cheltenham, the event used a combination of the GUiDE and PALs information bus and the Golden Mountain restaurant as the venue.  A variety of organisations were on hand to provide advice and information on a range of health and social care issues.  More than 90 contacts were made and all the organisations that attended were pleased at the success.
