Village and Community Agents are here to help you to make contact with agencies who are able to provide you with the service or services that you may need. The team offer a free facilitated signposting service primarily to the over 50s and are able to visit people in their own homes.

     Village and Community Agents are employed and managed by Gloucestershire Rural Community Council (GRCC) and joint funded by Gloucestershire County Council
and NHS Gloucestershire

  • Over the Hill?


    Gloucestershire Village Agents featured as one of eight case studies in a film produced by The Rural Media Company to highlight the challenges faced by those growing older in the countryside - watch the film here.

  • 'Specialist Village and Community Agents'


    The Village and Community Agent scheme is working with the 3 Counties Cancer Network to support any patient, carer or family member in Gloucestershire who is over the age of 18 and affected by cancer. A group of specialist agents has been trained to work on this countywide project which is funded by Macmillian Cancer Support.
